1.2 AUTHORISATION OF MAINTENANCE ORGANISATIONS RMAR 145

The activity is carried out according to the regulation RMAR 145.

In order to be able to demonstrate that it has the capacity and means to fulfil its obligations as well as the privileges related to the authorization granted, the maintenance organization must comply with the RMAR 145, as well as the AMCs and the associated GMs.

A. Initial MO authorization

An initial application package includes:

– The RMAR Form 2;

– The Certificate of Incorporation (certificate of trade registration) as detailed on the RMAR Form 2 with a translation in English, if it is not in Romanian language. A courtesy translation may be accepted. The Certificate of Registration is aimed to demonstrate the Principal Place of Business and the legal entity name.

B. Continuous Supervision of Authorized Maintenance Organizations (AMO)

In order to maintain a Certificate of Authorization, the maintenance organization must permanently prove that the conditions of the authorization have been maintained.

The authorization conditions represent:

– continuous compliance of the organization with the provisions of RMAR 145;

– allowing AAMN access to conduct its own investigations with the maintenance organization, including its partners, subcontractors and suppliers.

C. Changes

AAMN receives notification from the AMO of any proposed change on the RMAR Form 2. AAMN follows the applicable elements of the initial process paragraphs for any change to the AMO.

AAMN may prescribe the conditions under which the AMO may operate during such changes unless it determines that the approval should be suspended due to the nature or the extent of the changes.

D. Continued validity of approval

An approval is issued for an unlimited duration. It shall remain valid subject to:

– The AMO remaining in compliance with RMAR 145; and

– AAMN being granted access to the AMO to determine continued compliance with RMAR 145; and – The certificate not being surrendered or revoked.
